My sons have returned to school today and I’ve been looking forward to having more structure to the days.
As we all get older we need to work harder at keeping fit and like everyone I need to work at this too.
I’ve decided that I really want to do the PIYO workout that I bought a couple of months ago. It’s by the well known keep fit guru Chalene Johnson. I follow her many podcasts on working smarter and being a success regardless of what job you do, but she started out as a keep fit Queen. However, the PIYO dvd’s are really hard and my fitness level is zero.
Yes I stand up all day and I’m rushing about all the time, but I have not done any serious keeping fit for a couple of years really, as I let other things take over my life. It’s all changing TODAY.
I’m bought a FitBit to count my steps and monitor my sleep and I’m determined that by Christmas I’ll be feeling much fitter and able to get through a gym class without falling down half way!
Everyone needs encouragement so if you want to join me at any time for a walk along the beach or in the woods please let me know – I’m very keen to get a buddy! I have downloaded the MapMyWalk app to keep track of what I’m doing as a visual.
